SiteRank (iPhone)

This was the first and only app that I developed for the iPhone, in the hopes that I could get a better understanding of iPhone application development.

Why would I choose to do an app that retrieves the Google PageRank & Alexa Ranking? Well... why not? It's not like I was looking to make money out of it - I just wanted to develop something that allowed me to improve my iPhone SDK/Objective C/Cocoa skill base.

Anyways, I'll stop talking about why I did it, and get to the actual application.

Below are 2 screen shots, which you can also find on countless other sites all over the net.

Apart from just getting the PageRank and Alexa rank, I decided to build a historical view, which was useful if you're very forgetful or if you just want some distinct features. Oh, and you could delete historical entries as well, with just a swipe of your finger - what a great feature, eh?

Anyways, this app was the best at what it did when I first released it - no doubt that now there are tons of other apps that do this plus a bunch of other things.

I'll probably be releasing some more iPhone applications, but for now, this is the one and only.
