Model Release Pal (beta) for Android
After procrastinating for so long, I finally got off my arse and released the Model Release Pal for Android - beta.
As an amateur photographer myself, I believe that this will an invaluable tool.
I've also decided to release it for free, as it's still in the beta phase and still not 100% sure if I want to charge for it in the future.
Here are the main features:
- ability to manage all your model releases in an easy to use environment
- tag model releases to a specific photo shoot
- add new photo shoots
- model can sign on the phone using finger or stylus pen
- can add as many contracts as you want and view them from the app
- export model release with signature and contract
And more features to come as is is still beta.
Adding Contracts
The most technical aspect of this program will probably be adding contracts, which isn't actually that technical at all. All you'll need to do is attach your phone to your computer (using the USB cable that you got with it), and move all the contracts you want onto the sdcard under /modelreleasepal/contracts - the directories should be there, but if they're not, just run the application and it should automatically create them.
I also forgot to mention that the contracts need to be in PDF format - if they're not, you can easily convert them in most image/word processing applications.
